Shape It Up

Hiya! This week we want to see shaped cards at Cupcake Craft Challenges, no squares or rectangles! Tricky?! No, you can choose the easy way as I did with a circle cut out with a Nestie. You can use a folded piece of card stock for the card base, cut out a circle with a die, but remember to leave a gap where the fold is and you'll have a nice card base.

We're being sponsored by Marianne Design, a lucky winner will receive a fabby gift!!!!

I used:
Creative Expression's On Air box medallion
Circle Nestie
Pro Markers
Stickles and Glossy accents
retired butterfly punch

Have a wonderful week!

Warm hugs

Something Sweet

Monday morning and time for a new Challenge at Cupcake Crafts; this week we got a fab sketch to follow. This was a real treat. I often struggle with sketches and alter them in some way or other, this time even I could follow it! I made good use of some of the candy I received last week. A sweet Helz Cuppleditch image coloured with Derwent watercolour pens. Lovely papers from the Dovecraft London Line set and ribbon from my stash.

Di's Digi Downloads are offering a lucky winner a $10 Gift Certificate!!!

Have a wonderful week!

Say It With Music

Well, you can almost see the music notes behind the bow! I used Penny Black stamps from the Clearly In Love set and a very vibrant red Brilliance ink. The heart borders are Bazzill and the bow is from Lisa's gorgeous candy.

So many fabby challenges to join this week! I would like to enter:

Crafty Calendar Challenge: Love and Marriage
Crafty Catz Challenge: Love Is in the Air (feature a heart)
Cute Card Thursday: Love Struck!
Fab'n'Funky Challenges: Valentines or Hearts!
One Stop Craft Challenge: Love is in the air
Simply Create Too: Valentine's Day or Hearts

I was totally inspired by the lovely sketch at The Sweet Stop Challenge, but I altered it too much when the crafty bug bit me.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thank You Lisa!

I entered Lisa's Surprise Candy in December and look what arrived!!! The most generous candy ever; three lovely stamp sets, three wonderful paper stack and gorgeous embellies.

At the moment I'm in the just need to stroke them phase every time I pass. Soon I'll enter the ink them up phase...the hardest part is the need to cut the papers phase, but you can tell I'll enjoy the crafting!!! Thank you Lisa! I've been down with three colds this winter so this is a real heart warmer!
